Firefighters battle blaze at Dolphins star Tyreek Hill's home in Southwest Ranches

 

Hill, the Dolphins' star wide receiver, was at practice with the team Wednesday and not at the home when the fire broke out

Firemen fought an enormous fire at the South Florida home of Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Slope on Wednesday evening.

The fire broke out in no time before 2 p.m. at the home in the 16000 block of Berkshire Court in a gated local area in Southwest Farms.

Flying film from Chopper 6 showed weighty smoke coming from the chateau as groups poured water onto it and firemen cut openings into segments of the rooftop.

A lot of firemen and police from different close by organizations answered the scene including Davie Fire Salvage and Broward Sheriff Fire Salvage.

Davie Fire Salvage's Sway Taylor said the fire was restricted to the loft and rooftop yet said there was smoke harm in a significant part of the house. It was too soon to decide the reason for the fire, Taylor said.

Taylor said there were no wounds revealed

The fire had all the earmarks of being stifled by around 3 p.m., however an enormous opening should have been visible on one part of the rooftop.

Slope's representative, Drew Rosenhaus, said it was obscure whether the family could remain in the home Wednesday night yet said Slope was grateful nobody was harmed.

"It's undeniably challenging for anybody to have their home burst into flames, however Tyreek and his family are taking care of it with much balance as you can trust, he was appreciative to the firemen who saved his home," Rosenhaus said.

Property records showed Slope bought the house in 2022 for $6.9 million.

The 9,300-square-foot home elements seven rooms, eight washrooms, a home theater, a regular b-ball court, a gigantic pool and two visitor houses.

Slope, 29, was exchanged from the Kansas City Bosses to the Dolphins in 2022 and marked a four-year contract expansion worth a detailed $120 million.

A Dolphins injury report delivered Wednesday in front of the group's Sunday night matchup against the Bison Bills records Slope with a lower leg injury.

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa told columnists he learned of the fire after training and after Slope had passed on to return home.

"The primary thing is his family is protected, his friends and family are great, he's great also," Tagovailoa said. "I'm simply happy that a ton of his relatives are protected… We're considering them, it is great to trust that everybody."

Hill, the Dolphins' star wide receiver, was at practice with the team Wednesday and not at the home when it broke out.

A Dolphins spokesperson said Hill had left practice and said everyone who was in the home at the time was safe.

Footage showed Hill, wearing a white T-shirt, dark sweatpants and a boot on his left foot, arriving back at the home and hugging family members.
